Saint-Charles-sur-le-Richelieu, September 1, 2022—Groupe Conseil UDA inc. (UDA) is pleased to announce it has acquired the Groupe de Recherche et d’Études en Biostatistique et en Environnement (G.R.E.B.E.). Its leader Mario St-Georges and his highly specialized team of professionals are joining the UDA family.

Specialized in scientific consulting services in the fields of ecology, environment and conservation of natural environments, Mario St-Georges’ team at G.R.E.B.E. has been collaborating with Groupe Conseil UDA for over 20 years in a number of disciplines.

“We are very excited to be able to rely on their expertise in-house from now on. Bringing the G.R.E.B.E. team into the Groupe Conseil UDA ecosystem strengthens our environmental services and expertise in Québec. This group of senior consultants are bringing their widely recognized knowledge to our organization. As such, UDA now includes industry acknowledged players, exceptional expertise and a complete service offering related to wildlife and ecology,” proudly states Jean-François Poirier, President of Groupe Conseil UDA.

“It was important for me to team up with people who share the same values as me. Groupe Conseil UDA is a constantly growing family-sized organization where competent people with strong environmental work ethics come together,” says Mario St-Georges with enthusiasm.

The expertise developed by Mario St-Georges and his team in carrying out projects with Native communities is also an important asset for the environmental consulting firm UDA. Since its beginnings 40 years ago, UDA’s strength lies in the balance between project delivery and sound environmental practices.

For Mario St-Georges, it was important to remain people-oriented and aligned with his values.

“We really connect with each other on these fronts. We constantly strive to carry out projects while ensuring the protection and the utmost respect of the environment.

G.R.E.B.E. is now part of UDA, but I must emphasize that we will continue to help our clients with the same passion and dedication. By joining Groupe Conseil UDA inc., I will be able to focus more on the projects that motivate me, without having to worry about the administrative side of things. This natural association will also allow us to provide our clients with access to a wider and more complete range of environmental services,” adds the environmental expert.
