UDA inc. inhabits the historic Chicou-Duvert house located on Chemin des Patriotes in Saint-Charles-sur-Richelieu. The construction of the house goes back from about 1810. Mr. François Duvert, who was a doctor, and his brother Louis who was a notary, practised there. In 1837, Mr. Louis-Joseph Papineau spoke, from this place, to approximately 5000 people at the Six Comtés Assembly.

The historic Chicou-Duvert house included originally six fireplaces of which some still remains. Well preserved, the still imposing architecture can only arouse interest as much from the novice as the expert.
